Hello everyone!
It’s officially spring and there is no shortage of great gardening events going on in NYC. (now if only we all had a little bit more time to go to them all!) Farming Concrete recently tabled at NYCHA’s going green 2012 event and we were excited to see so many people with such great energy there. Along with hearing great speeches, we made some new friends. We met Mr. Charles Vasser, who mentioned us in blog post at Community Greens. As they describe in their about section, their blog “connects the dots” of a lot of the amazing events in our NYC communities, and encourage everyone to get out and participate in all the great happening! So please show this blog some love!
If you would also like to see a lot of great smiling faces you can check out the photos Mr. Vasser took at the the NYCHA Going Green facebook page.
Our next tabling event is coming up at Greenthumb’s annual Grow Together, March 31st from 8:30am-4:30pm at Hostos Community College in the Bronx. Click here for more information. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
